Estimates

A price after we see the job. Not before.

A device change and a service upgrade are different jobs, so they do not share a number. You get a written estimate after we see the panel, the wiring, and the access.

About

One electrician, accountable for the job.

DG Electrical Solutions is Dennis Garcia. He has been taking electrical contracts, large and small, since 2020, with an emphasis on communication and work that is finished properly.

The company is built around three habits: keep the agreements you make, tell the client what is happening, and do the work to a standard you would put your own name on. That is the whole pitch.

Integrity

We take work we can actually do, and we do it the way it was described.

Communication

You should know the scope, the timing, and what happens if the walls reveal a surprise.

Craft

Licensed work, clean device installs, and circuits labeled when we leave.

Service area

Worcester County, and east toward Boston.

Regular coverage includes Worcester, Leominster, Fitchburg, Framingham, Concord, Marlborough, Shrewsbury, Southbridge, Millbury, and the towns below.

Questions

Before you call.

Short answers to the questions people actually ask. The longer list lives on the FAQ page.

What should I do in an electrical emergency?

If there is fire, smoke, or someone is hurt, call 911 first. If it is safe to do so, turn the main breaker off, keep people away from the panel and any damaged wiring, and then call a licensed electrician. Do not keep resetting a breaker that trips immediately.

Can I do my own electrical work in Massachusetts?

Most electrical installations and alterations in Massachusetts have to be done by a licensed electrician, and many of them need a permit and inspection. DIY wiring can fail inspection, void a sale, and start a fire. Hire a licensed electrician for anything beyond a simple like-for-like device replacement you are sure is legal in your town.

How often should a home’s electrical system be looked at?

Have a licensed electrician inspect the system every 3 to 5 years, and sooner in an older house or if lights dim, breakers trip, outlets feel warm, or you smell overheating. An inspection before a renovation or a home sale is cheaper than discovering the problem after the walls are closed.

How much do electrical services cost?

The price depends on the work. A device replacement is not a service upgrade, and a service upgrade is not a whole-house rewire. DG Electrical does not publish package prices, because those numbers would be guesses. You get a written estimate after we know the job.
